Tennis fan, you should call the sheriff's department's Internal Affairs Bureau and ask to speak to whoever is investigating this case. Seriously. Someone needs to know about this.April 25

tennisfan, you apparently are in the know... if the captain-then Lt squashed an investigation into the city manager and was then promoted to the first captain in the history of the Avalon sheriff's station, then that stinks. The golfing with the trusty certainly takes a backseat to this story. Wow...April 25

Well, apparently the rumor you heard last year was true. I still keep hearing that there are actual pictures of the captain playing a round of golf with the trusty, who is wearing civilian clothing. That can't be true, can it?April 25

Hi, my house rental starts on the 29th of July but our extended family arrives on the 28th (they are staying at Hamilton and Pavilion Lodge for the week) My husband and I would like to arrive on the 28th and stay the night at a hotel. Any suggestions on which hotels will allow a 1 night stay?April 11

Mr. Williams made this reservation and was told at the time he would have a non-refundable deposit of 10%. He was sent an email confirmation with this information in writing. When he called back to cancel we reminded him of this fee. He was transferred to Guest Services where he left a threatening message to "destroy our business on line". He then proceeded to place comments on Yelp, Yahoo travel, Catalina Chamber of Commerce, ECatalina, Trip Advisor, fFacebook and many more locations. When we picked up the message we called Sean and told him we understood his situation and refunded him 100%. Unfortunately this was not before he was able to place all these negative comments on line. I do hope that most people reading these comments will look at the other 99.9% positive comments.
