Stolen Items/Theft at Lockers
Hello All,
I was in Catalina this past weekend and had my locker "broken" into. There were no signs of force entry into the locker. A (master) key had to have been used. The thieves left me with a sweater and my ticket back home. Does anyone know if this is a common occurrence at the locker area near the dock? They STOLE my brand new camera and our cell phones. I filed a police report and I am asking the owners of the locker company (Catalina Baggage) for help but I am getting nowhere. The workers were extremely rude and tried to place blame on me saying that must have not locked the locker. I checked that locker five times as well did my boyfriend because we knew what was contained in that locker. At first the workers said they had surveillance cameras and then when the police arrived the workers said the cameras were not working. There is so much foot traffic in that area someone should have seen something.
Any info on the crime in the locker area would help. Also any suggestions on pawn shops in that area that I can check to see if my belongings are there.
